President
Denis’s work includes long and short fiction, lyric writing, and poetry. He has won multiple awards and is best known for his comedic flair.
Marilyn Richardson
Membership Chair
Marilyn's focus is on children's literature, including YA and MG. While she has written many books, she is most proud of Stars Around the Sun - the story of a maid of honor serving Princess Elizabeth the month prior to her becoming queen.
Joe Gordon
Former President
Joe has many years of experience in non-fiction, including academic and technical writing. He also works on mystery/thriller fiction and has authored a novel titled A Wisp of Smoke.
Christopher Jones
Treasurer
Chris writes detective novels about surfing crime-fighter, Thaddeus Hanlon, under the pseudonym Topper Jones. Other writing credits include poetry, children’s fiction, general-interest magazine articles, and a teaching novel—Accosting the Golden Spire, 3rd ed.
Amanda Empey

Amanda likes to mix fantasy with sci-fi. She's currently working on a cyberpunk standalone novel and a steampunk trilogy. The first book of the series, White Crown Academy, is out and available at
Sue Stevenson Leth

Sue is a poet who has just finished her anthology titled While I'm Not Sleeping. Her poetry has appeared in Utah Sings and Sandcutters Chapbook.

Gina Grisson writes poetry, short horror and LGBTQ erotica. Her first novel was just published and she's working on the rest of the series.

Bob Paterson writes mystery and is currently working on his first fantasy novel.
Sheena Blankenagel

As a lifelong enthusiast of all things mythoi, Sheena is writing a mythological fantasy trilogy. Her short stories have received recognition in multiple journals and contests, and her nose is usually buried in author craft books. When needing a break from her laptop, Sheena whisks her family off on outdoor adventures like hiking, camping, and soaking in hot springs.

Rick’s experience includes non-fiction work as a journalist, technical writer, copywriter, and content creator. His fiction writing includes short stories and an unpublished manuscript.
